Open Labs for Fall 2009
Open labs are intended to be used only by INP students. All open labs are held in the Gunder Myran building. The open lab will start on Tuesday, Sept. 8, and run through Thursday, Dec. 17. Hours will be:
Schedule Change
Lab hours for the week of Thanksgiving will be:
- Monday (11/23): 12-5
- Tuesday (11/24): 10-3
- Wednesday - Friday (11/25 - 11/27): Closed
- Saturday (11/28): 11-4
INP Tutoring for Fall 2009
Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. The tutor cannot spend an extended amount of time with a single student. The tutor will be available on Wednesdays starting September 2 and running through December 16.
The tutoring schedule is:
- Wed: 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. (GM018)
Student Email
- After enrolling at WCC, you can activate your email account.
- You will need to know your student ID number, which is the number generated by WCC and assigned to you.
- Email can be checked through an online system located at http://stu.wccnet.edu/mail/
- Your email address is: username@stu.wccnet.edu (your username is provided when you activate your account)
- If you are experiencing email difficulties, consult the email help page on the WCC website.
Student Server (stu.wccnet.edu)
- Any (S)FTP program can be used to access your server space on stu.wccnet.edu
- Your netID username and password are used to log in to the server.
- Everything that will be visible online needs to be within a folder named public_html; subdirectories within public_html are also visible.
- Your online files can be viewed at: http://stu.wccnet.org/~username (your username is the first part of your student email address, before the @ sign).
- The student server has both Server Side Includes (SSI) and PHP 4 enabled.
- There is no database access from the student server.
- Telnet/SSH access is not allowed.
